The day to day happenings of the Law family: November 2013

November was very busy for us. Ken and I traveled to Europe. I had a business trip to go to the flower shows in Holland and Ken tagged along to make it a vacation. After Amsterdam we visited Brussels and Brugge.

We left Kam for a week with Grandma Suzi while we traveled and he did great. They both really enjoyed their bonding time together and Ken and I enjoyed our alone time!

Here are a few updates on what our Kam Man is up to these days:

He loves spaghetti and green grapes

Loves wheel of fortune - claps for the contestants

Blinks and winks

Obsessed with all things water and drinking it all.

Likes to wave at the kiddos as they are leaving school

Can open and close the door himself

Trying to ween the paci so he only uses it at night and nap

Still wants everyone to smell his feet

Favorite toy is his ball popper

Says dada, mama, hi, hair, bath, 'arf arf'

Sleeps from 8pm -6:40 am

Has all of his teeth except his 2 year molars.

is starting to test boundaries.

BUSY BUSY BUSY! That sums up the last few months. A lot has happened so I'm going to keep it to bullet points and pictures

KAM TURNED ONE! -
We had a great mustache themed birthday party at Grandma Kathy's in Paxton.

We bought a house!!!!!! After years of searching we finally found 'the one' we got a great fixer upper in the perfect neighborhood in Encinitas. We are so excited and can't wait to begin to make it our own and give Kam a backyard!

Kam loves his swing in this new backyard. This was the first thing we bought for the house!

MORE TEETH-
Kam is currently getting all four molars AND all four K9 teeth - POOR BABY!

FIRST SENTENCE -
Kam was in the middle of a teething episode, was so cranky and mom, Ken and I were absolutely exhausted from moving. I had finally calmed Kam down and he was sitting on my lap drinking a bottle on the couch. Ken walked around the corner and said "Hi buddy" and clear as day Kam looked at him and said "Hi Daddy" we all sat there in shock and looked at each other like did that just happen? haha little stinker

OFFICIALLY ON TO MILK
after 12 months of nursing we have officially transitioned to whole milk. It took Kam a little while to adjust to not nursing with my anymore but took to milk in the bottle fairly quickly

KAM LOVES TO GIVE KISSES, HUGS AND PATS ON THE BACK

Jabber Jabber! Loves to explore his voice says dada, daddy, mama, mumum (milk or food) tries to say thank you, says hi, tries to say bye.

Copy cat especially anything mommy or daddy does. he blows on food and on mommy's makeup brushes.

HALLOWEEN! WAYNES WORLD - excellent!

Kam's first crab fest - we headed down to celebrate Uncle Alec's birthday with a good ol' Crab boil.

A new house means many new drawers to get into!

Mom came to visit the weekend we moved in (lucky her) She was a huge help but we were able to sneak away for a bit and show her the beach and park by our new house (less than 3 miles away!)
